As Illinois’ managed Medicaid program transitioned all of its provider credentialing activities to HFS’ IMPACT registration system, the Illinois Health and Hospital Association (IHA) engaged the Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans (IAMHP) in dialogue to create a universal “provider roster.” The “provider roster” is a new document that providers will submit to their Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) to enter provider information into the MCO’s systems for claims payment and their directory; for care coordination efforts; and in a number of instances, to address federal CMS requirements as part of updated federal regulations regarding information provided to Medicaid enrollees. The MCOs began accepting the universal “provider roster” on June 15, 2018.
IHA members are encouraged to participate in one of these three webinars led by IHA and IAMHP staff. During each webinar MCO roster experts will provide a live demonstration of the new template and walk participants through the roster instructions. Members will have an opportunity to ask questions during a live question-and-answer session. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the form from the people who created it and to ask compliance questions of those who will implement it. This program is complimentary for Illinois Health and Hospital Association members and affiliated credentialing verification organizations.
